This dome ring builds up in layers of micro-pavé diamonds, all converging on a single emerald set dead centre. The dome shape gives it real presence on the hand without the ring feeling bulky, since the pavé work keeps the surface light rather than solid. Micro-pavé takes considerably more setting time than standard pavé because the stones are smaller and packed tighter, which is part of what gives the surface its dense sparkle.
